RV Parking Rules

  • Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. The use of generators during these hours is prohibited.

  • Vehicles blocking other sites or parked in sites other than their own or parked in, "No Parking Zones" are subject to tow.

  • Please do not park or drive on the grass.

  • The speed limit is 5 mph. All applicable driving laws apply and include the use of golf carts. Golf carts are only to be operated by a person 16-years of age or older. All vehicles, including golf carts must remain on designated driving areas. Children should be supervised at all times.

  • All RV's are required to have an "0" ring for sewer connections. Water hoses must be in good condition and without leaks.

    • Sewer hoses must be connected to a donut or a sewer hose connector.

    • Do not place your sewer hose directly into our sewers. This causes a back up of our sewer system and emits toxic gases. Sewer hoses are available to purchase at the RV Office.

  • Electric cords must be in safe operating condition and adaptable to SWFC outlets. Hard wiring is strictly prohibited.

  • The Southwestern Fair Commission, Inc. is not liable for the fluctuations in electricity or damage caused to or within the RV, trailer, tent, etc. due to power surges.

  • Please keep some water in your holding tank. Temporary power out ages could temporarily interrupt the well water system.

  • No Firearms, Fireworks, Open Fires

  • Self-contained gas fire pits may be allowed but must be pre-approved by the RV Host. Please see your camp host for more information prior to setting up.

  • No storage units. All excess equipment/supplies must be stored within the RV unit.

  • Clean up after your pet. Pets are to be kept on a leash and walked outside the perimeter of each site. Pets are not to be tied up at anytime. Portable dog pens only, no dog pens may be constructed to the facility attached to trees, fences or grounds. Guests with aggressive or barking pets may be asked to leave the park without refund.

  • Trash disposal is the guest's responsibility including, beer cap's, bottles, cans, cigarette butts. We believe we have a beautiful clean and tidy desert setting which we wish to maintain for all our guests.

  • The RV Park at the Pima County Fair grounds is part of a multi-use facility. Some dates coincide with a concert or other events with amplified music that could go past the quiet time hours. Please see the schedule of events to help you plan your stay accordingly.

  • Special events may reserve all RV Sites which could require RV guests to move to another site or to another off site RV park. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone.

  • A Calendar of Events is posted in the RV Office and available on line. Visit the park's website at The-RVPark.com.

  • RV guests should be aware of our desert visitors for this reason you may find Coyotes, Rattlesnakes, Bobcats, Bears, Javelinas, Gila Monsters, Spiders, Centipedes, Bees, Wasps, Scorpions, etc. If you come across any of these please don't disturb them.

NOTICE!

Backflow Prevention: Federal and State law require that water suppliers protect their water systems from contamination. Residences used for other purposes, as well as commercial and Industrial customers are required by the Arizona Administrative Code rule R18-4-215 to install and maintain backflow prevention assemblies. Charges will be applied if the YELLOW backflow preventer that is located on the RV Site is removed.
