Getting to the show
From I-10, take the Houghton Road exit (Exit 275). Proceed south for one mile to the Pima County Fairgrounds sign. Turn right (west) on Brekke Road and go half a mile to the Brekke Road entrance and turn left to enter. See the map above. NEW:It now helps to know where you want to go. To get to Thurber Hall (Working, Sporting, Herding groups), FastCAT, OB/Rally, or to the field, go left before the guard shack and go through the Blue gate. For Old Pueblo Hall (all other groups) and RV Parking or Box Van check-in turn right just past the guard shack. There will be signs to direct you. The Fairgrounds are located 17 miles east of downtown Tucson.
El Tour de Tucson bike race delay
On Saturday 18 Nov. your route and/or time to the fairgrounds could be affected by the the El Tour de Tucson bike race.
Please consult the race map to determine if it will affect your route.
Southbound Houghton Rd will be closed Saturday morning and you will need to follow these directions to get to the fairgrounds entrance:
From I-10, take the Rita Road exit (Exit 273). Proceed south on Rita Rd. for approximately a half mile and turn left on to Rocket Stravenue which will turn into Harrison Rd. after the bend (about one mile).
Stay on Harrison Rd for 1.6 miles and turn left (east) on to Brekke Road (just past the Southeast Regional Park Shooting Range). Go half a mile to the Pima County Fairgrounds' Brekke Road entrance and turn right
to enter. See the map above. At this point follow the New directions above. The Fairgrounds is located 17 miles east of downtown Tucson.
